These are higher-performance and than the original factory Sachs/Boge shocks, and they carry a lifetime factory warranty. They are well suited for campers as well as regular Vanagons, and are an excellent "sweet spot" between handling and comfort - that is, stiff enough to handle better than the stock shocks, but without the bone-jarring ride common to stiffer gas shocks. Priced each.
