This dark gray seal is often missing on Westies, first because some left the factory without it to begin with, and secondly because it was discontinued for years so people just ripped them out when they failed and did not replace them. We finally found them in Europe. If you can see the screw heads around the window inside your camper then you are missing this seal. (Speaking of which, this is a good time to replace the screws themselves; they are linked below.)
