These are the real deal, from the OE supplier to VW/Brazil - nearly impossible to find - not the Chinese ones sold elsewhere. Grab 'em while you can! (If you are on a tight budget, a rebuilt one is also linked below; however it has a core deposit requiring you to return your old one, unlike this new one.)
This is for Buses with Ate calipers, which are by far the most common. The brake line goes into the center. If your brake line port is off to one side, then you probably have Vanagon style Ate calipers on your Bus. That caliper is linked below, and is the same other than the location of the brake line port.
There are also a very small number of Buses with Girling calipers; they would have a "G" or "Girling" on the caliper rather than "Ate" or "Teves." That caliper also has a different brake line location, and can be found on our site as 251615108AX. Alternatively, this caliper can replace that one if you relocate the brake line using part # 113611763A.
Note to 1971-72 Bus Owners: These '73-79 calipers can replace your hard-to-get 1971-72 calipers as well; just purchase left and right '73-79 calipers and our upgrade/adapter kit linked below. You will then use 1973-up pads on your Bus but will continue to use stock 1971-72 rotors. This is a very worthwhile upgrade if you are replacing both calipers at once. However, if you are just replacing one caliper, you'll need to stick with an original '71-72 one, part # 211615107X, so both sides match.
