This is the European-style seal used on later U.S. market Vanagons, as well as virtually all European market Vanagons. It is the one we recommend for all Vanagons. It does away with the "chrome" plastic molding strip around the windshield that some Vanagons had. Most people use this seal because the "chrome" strip yellows and looks bad long before the seal around it fails. If you do want the version that accepts the "chrome" strip, it linked below.
