This kit is far superior to the version sold elsewhere. You only need to drill 2 holes in the poptop to mount them (as opposed to 4 with other kits), and none in the body of the van. No special tools are required, and all of the exterior hardware is Stainless Steel. Illustrated instructions are included.
This kit is intended for use with moderate weight on the poptop (such as a surf board or two) but can also be used with no weight. It is not recommend for heavy items such as a kayak. If you never carry anything on top of your poptop, we recommend our standard duty kit, PTS1 below, as it is easier to pull down with no weight on the poptop.
