We offer the stock Westfalia faucet (linked below), which is a drop-in replacement for your original. But for those who prefer the ShurFlo faucet used on the Eurovan, we also offer this complete kit that allows you to mount it to your Vanagon Westy while still maintaining both city and tank water functionality. The main difference is that the ShufFlo faucet has variable water flow (like a conventional faucet) rather than just off and on positions. The ShurFlo faucet twists and folds so you can close the lid over the sink. This kit includes everything you need to do the conversion: the faucet itself, the tee and spacer that adapt it to work on a Vanagon, minor hardware such as hose clamps and spade lugs, and installation instructions. Note, you will hear the sink pump run when you turn the faucet on even when using city water, but this does not damage the pump.

Note regarding Check Valve: The original Westfalia design called for two check valves to keep water from pouring out of the city water inlet on the side of your camper when you ran your sink pump. One check valve was built into the faucet and the second into the city water inlet. The Westfalia faucet (linked below) has that check valve built in, so even if the check valve in your inlet leaks the one in the faucet protects it. However ShuFlo faucets do not have built-in check valves, so they rely entirely on the check valve in the city water inlet. What this means is that if you buy the ShurFlo faucet instead of the Westfalia one, and once you install it water comes out of your city water inlet when running your sink, you'll need to order a new city water inlet with a working check valve (linked below).

Safety Note: Some competing faucet kits use fittings intended for LP gas use. They are made with high concentrations of lead because they were never intended for use with drinking water. The lead leaches into running water, making your sink water dangerous to drink. (Remember Flint, Michigan.) The EPA has outlawed these for plumbing use, but it's impossible to know what you're getting (as a retailer or a consumer) because they look identical and there is no labeling requirement or enforcement. Rather than take chances with no-name Chinese fittings, we only buy from a well regarded U.S. supplier that specifies lead-free content.
