Poptop Skylight - OEM Westfalia, Copper Color

Not an aftermarket knockoff, but a genuine OEM part. Our skylight is made on the original Westfalia mold, and is dead-on perfect. The aftermarket copies look similar, but they're much thinner and don't have the correct amount of flex. As a result they let out more heat, can leak in heavy rain, and can even damage your poptop if they take a hit from inside or outside the camper. This is because the original was specifically engineered to flex a certain amount on impact rather than transferring that force of impact to the hinge mounting points on your poptop. Not enough flex and your poptop can be damaged; too much flex and the skylight seals poorly. That attention to detail is the difference between a correctly engineered OEM product and a knockoff.

We offer this skylight in a single-pane or dual-pane version. Both are made on the original molds and meet OE specs. This is the single-pane version (as are the aftermarket ones sold elsewhere, but only ours meets OE specs). It's all you need unless you do a lot of cold-weather camping, and is much less expensive. If you camp in frigid weather you may want to consider the dual pane version, which adds an extra insulation layer as used on original production. It is linked below.
