This ia a genuine European made Bosch pump. (Not all Bosch pumps are.) The quality is much better than the cheap aftermarket Chinese ones that have flooded the market, which tend to be loud and/or have quality issues. If you want a cheaper option, rather than settling for aftermarket knockoffs you can get this pump under the Hella brand (also an OEM supplier but made in their China plant), for about half the price, linked below. The two versions are the same other than country of origin; see the side-by-side pic on this page.
Note: Modern production (under both brands) now takes ring terminals instead of spade terminals, for a more solid connection. Don't worry if your existing wiring still has spade lugs; a set of crimp-on ring terminals is included.
