This high-output bulb can replace your stock high-beam bulb on an '86-91 Vanagon, improving high-beam visibility. However, before using it you must install our Headlight Relay Kit, replace your headlight fuse with a 15 amp fuse, and check/clean the grounds on your headlight wiring harness. Otherwise your wiring will not support the additional current draw.
