With replacement bulb holders now going for $110/pair without lenses(!!!), we found a better AND cheaper solution. These LED side marker light assemblies are made for a German luxury car but happen to be perfect drop-in replacements for your old Vanagon ones. They are a direct fit replacement for your Vanagon lights, but you will have to cut/splice the wires. They're have a sleek thin profile like the original Vanagon ones, and improve lighting dramatically. A great upgrade at a great price!
Buyer beware! Other retailers are selling clunky generic DIY trailer lights as replacements for the Vanagon marker lights. While they do fill the holes, those look nothing like the originals, and are nowhere near the quality.
