CV Joint & Boot Kit - Rear - Heavy Duty OEM Porsche

The CV joint included in this kit (originally designed for Porsche) is more robust than the stock version and can handle a wider range of articulation. This improves overall reliability, especially if your van is sometimes taken off the road (i.e. camping) where the wheel travel may be greater than usual, or is not the stock ride height.

This kit is from Lobro/GKN, the original supplier to both VW and Porsche, so quality is top notch. Includes joint, boot, clamp, bolts, and grease. We recommend adding 6 serrated lock washers below, which help keep your CV bolts from loosening over time.

If you have Vanagon (except auto trans), a simpler alternative is our OEM Lobro/GKN Complete Rear Axle Shaft, linked below, which includes both CV''s, boots, and the axle shaft, all ready to install as a unit. That one uses the stock OEM spec Vanagon CV joints.  We also recommend going with the complete axle if you don't know whether your axle shaft is  still original, as aftermarket Chinese axle shafts will not accept original CV joints.
