To complete this job you should also order the crush washer, and 4 liters of the correct VW fluid, both linked below. The securing ring linked below may or may not be required. It must be removed to refill your fluid, and is intended to be re-useable a couple of times, but sometimes they do break when removed.
1995 Eurovan owners: Some Early 95's (thru January production) used an earlier trans that takes a different kit. If your Eurovan is factory-equipped with an auto transmission fluid dipstick, order kit # 098398009 instead.
